3.  Sustainability - Are there any changes that you made to your daily routine that you could envision making for the long term?  Can you reduce your consumption permanently?  Why or why not? Please be specific, and provide examples.

Over all this could be the easiest day to try and keep doing long term because there isnt just one focus, so if your aware of trying to reduce your intake and consumption in general it would be beneficial, it could be very good if everyone continued that even after the 7 day challenge is over.

4.  Following - What did you learn from following the tumblr feed of your peers?  Did one person’s actions resonate with you in a positive way?  Will you adjust your own actions because of this?

( everyone is doing Tech. Thurs) But everyones posts are pretty good and most people have been posting comedy pictures, videos or links to other environmentaly related sites which are interesting to look at and read. makes me think if people will continue to do so even after this project…

I could deffinatly do more things to cut back on spending, not buying food and just eating meals at home is one thing i can try to do. all around spending money wisely would be beneficial as well.

4.  Following - What did you learn from following the tumblr feed of your peers?  Did one person’s actions resonate with you in a positive way?  Will you adjust your own actions because of this?

From reading what other people have done today ( everyone is doing Water Wed ) i was more aware of my water intake even though my focus was money. so ill make sure i dont spend any money on bottled water…

Not using social networks probably wouldn’t be that difficult for me because most days i won’t even check them but when spending a weekend away in NH i would usually go on facespace.

4.  Following - What did you learn from following the tumblr feed of your peers?  Did one person’s actions resonate with you in a positive way?  Will you adjust your own actions because of this?

From reading what other people have done today (since everyone is doing try harder Tuesday and i’m on Sunday) i thought about how greatly consumption would go down just from people being aware and having the slightest effort is still doing something.

Day 2

(forgot about question 4.)

4.  Following - What did you learn from following the tumblr feed of your peers?  Did one person’s actions resonate with you in a positive way?  Will you adjust your own actions because of this?

The picture that mariannaiacoi (Tyler) posted shows a good point that the hawk is better for the environment because you have less hair to wash so bringing it back would be doing your part Mr.G. I might have to get one Myself. Reading other posts does let me see that its not very difficult for people to cut back but we aren’t used to or accustomed to lowering our consumption.

3.  Sustainability - Are there any changes that you made to your daily routine that you could envision making for the long term?  Can you reduce your consumption permanently?  Why or why not? Please be specific, and provide examples.

I don’t have my own car so i don’t drive all that often but trying to lower the amount of gass i use could be something i can try to do by turning off the car and not letting it idle and just by all around not driving as much.

Today i also told my parents and a neighbor in Nh about consumption and ways in which it can be reduced.

I don’t think id be able to reduce my food intake because i usually eat a lot and from not eating any where close to as much as i do normally i’m wicked hungry. Maybe if i had just had smaller meals instead of not having them at all it would have worked out better.
